Jillian!

Jillian is my 11 year old niece.  I don't get to spend much time with her but when we do we "love" it.  I needed to do her 11 year old head shot but only had a few minutes so I threw a couple of pillows down and used the natural light.  I'm almost done with the house and then I can get back to my photography.  Three more months but until then I'll just grab a few people and snap a few images every now and then.  Can't wait to get back to it!

My Courtney!

Courtney agreed to let me take a couple of fun shots with this 80's dress on.  Just threw her in the alley and started shooting.  Had to shoo another photographer out of the alley.  Its  a pretty popular alley.  My next shoot will be with Nestor's motorcycle.  A firman on a motorcycle.  Now that could be a great shoot.  Watch for it, thats my next photo shoot.  I just need time.

How fun it was to take off and just play around

with my camera using Courtney and Grant as my subjects.

I don't really have a lot of time these days to enjoy my photography because

of the house but I made time for these two.  I have know Courtney since her junior year

in high school.  I have watched her grow to become a beautiful young woman with

so many neat qualities.  She's not just beautiful but her heart matches her looks.  

And now she's found "Grant".  And she's  in love.  I have to say he really is perfect for

her.  They compliment each other.  They're set to marry on New Year's Eve and because the house will be done by then I have signed the wedding.

It will be a FUN night!

Going through old photos

So I had a few minutes on my hands and started going through old photos and came up with these images of Medea's second pregnancy with Aubrey.  Aubrey looks nothing like her two sisters.  She dark haired and they both are lighter.  Medea I  hope you don't mind that I put these up.  Hey now I think I'll tag you on Facebook.  Yeah!

Back out for a day!

It seemed like forever since I'd been out shooting.  So I took Brittany and Cali out for the afternoon.  We had a lot of fun but Cali was seriously hard to shoot.  What is it with newborns and dogs with me.  I sure give a hand to you photographers who take dog and baby shots.  I am so rusty with not shooting and just building our home but once we move in my new "Galerie" will be great.  Then I will get back to having some fun with my camera.  But for now a photo shoot once in a while works for me.

Alexa Faith

Medea, my neice, had her third baby just a couple of weeks ago.  Now I'm not that good at taking newborns pictures but I grabbed my camera and headed to Riverside to fit this shoot in while picking out tile for the entry at the new house.  She's so cute!  Alexa Faith is her name and I will admit she is perfect!  My goal was to get a sleepy shot but "Oh no" Alexa had other plans.  She was completely taken with the big window I used for light.  No sleepy picture this day.  Oh well we'll try again.

I know it's been forever since I've blogged but I have been swamped with building our home and my new "Galerie".  

This is my latest shoot, my neice with her two little girls.  Boy was that a fun shoot.  You can read more about it on "brittproductions.blogspot.com"  Britt blogs more than I do and its pretty funny what she wrote.  She assisted me and I loved every minute of it.

Danica and her mom, Christa!  Christa was the perfect mother of the bride.  She is the most positive person I have ever met.  She see's all things as good or at least turns them into good.  What a great pair these two are.

What a fun wedding!  Probably one of my favorites.  Danica was beautiful and Justin was incredibly handsome that day with his great smile.  Everything went perfect the day of the wedding.  From the minute I began shooting everything just flowed.  I could have taken a couple hundred more images but... you know how everyone wants the celebration to begin.

The Paul Family

How fun to shoot my first family at Vellano.  They were troopers thats for sure.  We got into our golf carts and started on our way.  It was Andrews 14th birthday and he gave part of his evening up just to do this shoot.  Kayla is 11 and an inspiring photographer.   Take a look.  You would never guess it was cold and windy by the time we ended our time together.

The Johnson Kids!  I know these are black and white and you can't see the color of their eyes but all three have the most incredible blue eyes that they got from their mother.  Watch for more to come.

Britt and Nestor!  This was their engagement photo shoot.  It's been almost two years.  Oh my gosh time is going by to quick.  Maybe babies soon?  Well we'll see.

Erica Rose Degrado!  Erica has been in my life since she was 14 years old.  I can't believe she's married.  I love this girl!  She will always be a part of my life.  And now she'll add little Ericas to my family.  I can't wait.

The Johnson Family!

Meet the Johnson Family!  Jeremy Johnson is our builder and this is his family.  First is Christian, 16 years old, Jayden, 10 years old and Gabriel, 4 years old.  What an incredible family. Jeremy married his high school sweeheart Julie.   This was their first pro shoot and we had so much fun!  Keep your eyes on them because I'll be shooting a lot this next year.  They're all too cute!
